BHI Therapeutic Sciences supports investigational research and education in stem cell and regenerative medicine using cord blood cells. Its stem cell products evaluated in clinical studies are collected in accordance with Good Tissue Practice to ensure safety. 

The studies have been conducted following approval by an Investigational Research Board and in accordance with Good Clinical Practice. 
Its cellular products are investigational and have not been shown to be safe or effective for any disease or condition.
Multiple studies of umbilical cord blood derived stem cell therapies and adipose-derived stem cell therapies are currently under investigation in clinical trials for a wide-range of medical conditions and show promising results. 

A study involving human cord blood cells has been registered on ClinicalTrials.gov (Identifier: NCT03735277); registration does not indicate FDA approval, and there is no IND in effect.
